Night Fision Releases Night Sights for CZ P-10 C OR

Dearborn, Mich. (August 4, 2020) – Night Fision, a leader in advanced tritium insertion solutions, has created the Stealth Series night sights for the CZ-USA P-10 C Optics-Ready pistol.

“We are excited to launch the first lower 1/3 co-witness, after-market tritium nights sights for the CZ P-10 C OR pistol,” said CJ Karchon, Vice President of Night Fision. “The Stealth Series is designed to not interfere with aiming the primary optic, but provide the shooter a top-notch tritium sight picture.”

The Stealth Series night sights have serrations on both the front and rear sight. They feature tritium vials with an optically engineered domed lens design for superior visibility. The rear sight has a black ring around the tritium vial while the front ring is available in yellow, orange and black. The rings are made of a ballistic polymer and guaranteed to not chip, crack, fade or peel under even the most adverse conditions.

Unlike Night Fision’s other night sights, the Stealth Series features a smaller front sight with a ring diameter of 2.4 mm and a wider notch in the rear sight. These sights have a lower 1/3 co-witness with most leading optics.

Night Fision’s Stealth Series night sights are CNC machined out of high-quality steel and the lenses are constructed from the same materials used for bulletproof glass. Night Fision packs more tritium gas into every sight, ensuring their sights are the brightest available.

Night Fision’s Stealth Series night sights are available for purchase now for the CZ P-10 C OR pistol. To purchase Night Fision products, please visit www.nightfision.com.

Night Fision and Costa Ludus Night Sight Collaboration

Dearborn, Mich. (May 21, 2020) – Night Fision, a leader in advanced tritium insertion solutions, is excited to announce a collaborative night sight project with firearms instructor Chris Costa. This series of sights, known as the Night Fision Costa Ludus sights, includes six different configurations.

The Costa Ludus sights were designed with direction from Chris Costa, based on his extensive background with the United States Coast Guard and as a firearms instructor. These sights have several unique features that set them apart from other Night Fision sights. Most notably, there are serrations on the front and rear sights to reduce glare. There are also serrations on the front edge of the rear sight to maximize one-handed manipulation. Costa Ludus sights include a proprietary Night Fision Perfect Dot® in the front sight and a horizontal tritium bar in the rear sight. The tritium bar gives the shooter a clear distinction between the front and rear sights in low light conditions. The rear sight is also cut to maximize the target picture for fast acquisition.

“Working with Chris to develop these sights has been a great experience. He knows exactly what he wants in a sight, and we are happy we could execute his vision,” said Jacob Herman, Director of Sales.

The Night Fision Costa Ludus sights are available exclusively for Glock pistols, in two versions: one that includes MOS and one that excludes MOS. When ordering these sights, please make sure to specify if you are running a MOS Glock as these sights are optimized for each type of pistol. Costa Ludus sights are available with a yellow, orange or white Perfect Dot® front ring that is guaranteed to not chip, crack, fade or peel.

“Night Fision exceeded my expectations in creating sights to my exact specifications,” said Chris Costa. “I am very impressed with their innovation and the quality of their products, and that led to this partnership.”

All Night Fision Costa Ludus sights are backed by Night Fision’s 16-year warranty. These sights can be ordered from a dealer or at www.nightfision.com.

The Difference Between the Glow Domes and Perfect Dots

Since Night Fision launched the Glow Dome product line, customers have started asking us this question: What’s the difference between the Glow Domes and Perfect Dots?

(Other variations include, “How can something be better than ‘Perfect’?” -and- a personal favorite, “The GlowDome…isn’t that where the New Orleans Saints play?”)

So let us shed some light on this for you 😉

The Perfect Dots

Tritium

Our original Perfect Dot sights are a 3-dot sight system with 2 tritium vials in the rear sight and 1 tritium vial in the front. They contain our standard XL green tritium vials which contain 30% more tritium than competitors.

Rings

The front sights come in 5 different ring colors (in order of popularity): yellow, orange, white, blue, and red. These rings are made of a ballistic polymer that won’t flake or fade over time, like paint.

The Perfect Dots, in particular, have a fluorescent pigment added which provides a bright day look with high reflectivity from ambient light.

Please be advised: These rings themselves, do not glow. Only the tritium dot in the middle glows.

The Glow Domes

Tritium

Our new Glow Dome sights are a 3-dot sight system with 2 tritium vials in the rear sight and 1 tritium vial in the front. They also contain our standard XL green tritium vials which contain 30% more tritium than competitors.

The main difference here is the patented domed lens which is optically engineered to maximize the glowing appearance of the tritium.

Rings

The front sights come in 2 different ring colors: yellow and orange. These rings are also made of a ballistic polymer that won’t flake or fade over time, like paint.

The Glow Domes, in particular, have a photoluminescent pigment added which is able to “charge up” with an outside light source to help with the transition from a well-lit environment to a low light environment while your eyes adjust to the tritium.

Please be advised: Since these rings glow, the day look will appear different than the Perfect Dots. The tritium does not charge the ring.

Our sister company, Cammenga has been working with tritium for almost 30 years, we know what works and what doesn’t. This is why we offer the longest illumination guarantee in the industry (16 years!). Look for our logo on the sides of many OEMs you are familiar with to verify the tritium insertion was done with precision and experience.
