NEW BLADE HEIGHTS OFFERED IN OPTICS READY STEALTH SERIES SIGHTS FOR SMITH & WESSON M&P M2.0 OPTICS PISTOLS

DEARBORN, MI. (November 3, 2022) – Night Fision, a leader in advanced tritium insertion solutions, is pleased to announce new blade height offerings for three manufacturers in their Optics Ready Stealth Series product line.

Night Fision’s Optics Ready Stealth Series (ORS) sights are engineered to offer a lower 1/3 co-witness—but with the new blade heights, a wider array of optics and handgun combinations will see what is regarded as the best position for back up irons on a handgun with a slide mounted optic. As an alternative to repurposing Suppressor Height sights, ORS sights are designed from the dovetail up to work as back up sights for optics yet obscuring less of the optic window, while still allowing three dot sight alignment if needed.

Two new blade heights have been introduced into the Smith & Wesson M&P offerings, the .311-.402 and the .464-.560. Shooters can choose their perfect blade height to combine with any number of popular optics and plate combinations on the market. The .311-.402 for Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507c, Swampfox Justice/Liberty, and similar battery pack height optics. The .464-.560 for Leupold Delta Point Pro, Aimpoint Acro P2, Swampfox Kraken, and similar battery pack height optics.

The .311-.402 height is the ideal height for lower 1/3 co-witness with RMR/Holosun 507c/Swampfox Justice or Liberty style optics.

Beyond their purpose-driven height, ORS sights offer the consumer several popular variations to select from: Yellow, Orange, and Black ring front sights can be combined with Blank, or Black ring rear sights. Regardless of the combination, all variants feature narrow front blades that obscure less threat, beveled surfaces for a no-snag draw, and serrated faces to minimize glare from sun or handheld lights.

“We’re so excited to bring our popular Optics Ready Stealth line to M&P owners,” says Rachel Maloney, Marketing Director for Night Fision. “Our customers have been requesting these sights, and they have arrived just when Smith & Wesson have released the incredible new Metal series model to the venerable M&P lineup. We think these are a perfect upgrade to an already thoughtful update to these well-loved duty grade pistols.”

Like all of Night Fision’s sights, the Optics Ready Stealth Series sights feature tritium vials that carry domed lenses optically engineered for superior visibility. The patented dome lens collimates the emitted glow from a vial packed with more tritium than most standard night sights on the market for a crisp green dot in dark conditions. Sight rings are made of ballistic polymer that is guaranteed to not chip, crack, fade, or peel under even the most adverse conditions. Night Fision night sights are CNC machined out of high-quality steel and lenses are constructed from the same materials used for bulletproof glass. All this attention to detail ensures their sights are the brightest available.

I have a Leopold Delta Point Pro mounted on my Smith and Wesson MP 9 2.0. I have the dove tail rear sight attached to the backnof my DPP. The front sight is a Dawson Precision that is very tall. My department’s policy states we need back up irons. I would like a front and back set of irons that will allow me to still aim in even if I remove my optic. Do you have a set up with height that will allow this?

  2. Our tallest sight option should work for you, visit the Optics Ready Stealth Series Sights for Smith & Wesson product page.
